One of these things is\u00a0string development. Together with my\u00a0partners from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/presto-strings.com\/doublebass.html\" target=\"_blank\">Presto<\/a> at\u00a0Gdansk\/Poland, I recently developed a new steel string: the <a href=\"http:\/\/presto-strings.com\/doublebass.html\" target=\"_blank\">Prestoflex<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>How do they sound and play? Other than our Jazzicato string, our recent launch, the Prestoflex is a steel string (flexible steel core with smooth chromesteel wrapping) . So it&#8217;s probably much less a <em>niche<\/em> product as the nylonwound Jazzicatos are.<br \/>\nCurious?
